Abstract

This monograph was written in Tamil to introuduce linguistics to MPhil students in Tamil University, Thanjavur, who were not familiar with Linguistics. This was written for correspondenc course students and so was written in simplified style pertaining to the correspondence course. The content introduced is restrictricted and not a broad one. The monograph contains eight lessons; they are listed below:
